About Cling

Cling is a free notepad calculator application. It is not the first one out there, but it's the most fun for me :)

The why

My wife loves to bake brownies and selling them. I found her mixing note taking (e.g: groceries list) and calculating the cost of goods manufactured (COGM), profit margin, etc on Notes app inside her phone or laptop.

I think it would be fun if I can take the spot of her Notes app with this app that I vibe-coded.

You can...

Defining unit

Define unit such as currency rate (e.g: $1 = Rp10,000). In case her brownies business goes international.

Real-time calculation

Calculate while typing without pressing anything. In case she's brainstorming costs and needs quick answers.

Draw

Highlight using draw tool. In case she needs to work with a remote branch of her brownies empire.

Your data

Cling stores data only in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to any server. No analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no third-party scripts.
